Do you Travel?
I offer complimentary travel within central Alberta. For locations beyond this area, a mileage fee applies. Please contact me for a detailed quote.
How long have you been doing this?
Photography is my passion, and my love for nature is evident in my outdoor style. I have been a dedicated portrait photographer since 1996.
How many photos do we get?
The number of images you receive will vary based on the duration of the photo session. Shorter sessions yield fewer images compared to longer ones. However, you can be assured that the images you receive will be ones you love and cherish. For mini sessions, you will receive a minimum of 20 photographs, while full sessions guarantee at least 50 photographs.
How do we get our photos?
You will receive access to an online personal portrait gallery. We can also discuss other options and see what works best for your situation.
Do you retouch photos?
All photography today involves some level of enhancement. Extensive retouching is available as an option and can be discussed as needed. Additional charges may apply depending on the extent of editing required.
Whats your turn around time?
You can expect to receive your images within 14 days. If there are any timing concerns, I will inform you promptly. Rest assured, sneak peeks will always be provided!
How do we book you?
You can reach out to me via the email links provided on the site or directly at phaedralynnphoto@gmail.com. We can discuss your needs either by email or phone, whichever you prefer. Your spot will be reserved once the non-refundable down payment of $150 is received. In the case of inclement weather or other situations, a rebooking will occur. There will a refund will be given. Any refunds not following under these exceptions are subject to the discretion of Photography by Phaedra.
Can you help us with planning?
Absolutely! That is a job we both are assigned to. Many clients have their favourite spots that are tried and true, others have no idea where to go. Leave it up to me and we'll figure it out together. There are many beautiful places to get your portraits done, from fields, parks, backyards or even in town in front of some cool buildings.
What should we wear?
These are your photos, so wear what truly represents you. Our goal is to capture images that reflect your inner self and personality, as portraits offer a glimpse into who you are. While I am happy to provide suggestions, it is aesthetically pleasing to see coordinated clothing in your images. For instance, casual attire like running shoes, jeans, and t-shirts, or a more formal look with button shirts and loafers. I am always available for a consultation before your photo day to ensure you are satisfied with your choices.
